After an upsetting (in a good way) first post-Christmas round of the Coupe de France, the 16emes have been much more restrained. So far only two teams have beaten higher-placed opposition, and in one case that took penalties (Croix at Marignane Gignac) and in the other there are only two league places between them (Metz winning 3-1 at Monaco).
